Could I get arrested for viewing regular adult materials on a rental computer?
This company I am renting from frequently buys used computers and sells them. I wonder if I would get into trouble if I returned it and then they called the police. I do not view child porn or make any threats or anything. At the store, they told me that they clean the hard drives before re-renting the computers.
No. Beleive me they see this all day long where your returning your computer. Though it would be a good idea to scrub the hard drive yourself before you return it, or at least make sure to delete your internet history and any files you've used that are pornographic in nature.
Bottom line here though no worries whatsoever, outside society would like you to beleive porn is a dirty dirty thing, and your the only one doing it, but 1.5 BILLION dollars are spent each year just in the USA on online pornography, so obviously it's not as uncommon as people would lead you to beleive.
