How long do xbox games on demand last? Is it like a rental?

Like, once you buy it, can you keep it forever? Or is it just for a set period of time, like 24 hours?

When you buy a game on demand its like buying the game at a store, the only difference is that microsoft is ripping you off and charging about 10-20 extra dollars on some games. The answer to your question is forever even if you delete it and you go on the same account you can download it again BTW id say go to gamestop buy a used copy of the game for like 10 dollars less than on the marketplace and dont waste room on your hard drive.

Xbox 360 Game Rentals?

i am signed up with blockbuster online so i can rent xbox 360 games online and they are sent to my house. I dont have a 360 yet but i'm getting one for christmas. I know that you can copy games from a disc to your hard drive. if i rent games can i just copy them to my hard drive and then send them back? would this work?

yes and no
yes u can coppy games to your hard drive and it will make the games loading times faster, and decrease your chance of red ring of death and make it quieter, but u still need the disc in order to play it.
