PSN Welcome back pack movie rentals doesn't work?


Hi, I've activated my PSN Welcome back pack and noticed that there isn't an option to download the free movie rentals that sony offered. I've checked on the video and games Platstaion store but I can't find it. I'm from the uk and I have a 40gb PS3.
Has it happened to anybody else?
Anyone know what the F is going on?

Trust Sony to once again fail at another thing right after they lose their server.

Will the PS3 blu-ray feature burn in a plasma as bad as when using the game mode feature?


I have read reviews on a few plasma's and it is said that video games played more than a 2+ hour time period can cause burn in. Is this the same if you are watching a blu-ray on your PS3 or is it something different in the technology?

(The Devil is in the details with this one)

There are people who bring home a new HDTV, leave the Brightness and Contrast at 100% (set by the factory so the unit will stand out if it is used for a floor display). Then they play old 16-color Atari 2600 games for hours. This causes burn-in.

I have a Brother in Law who has been playing his PS2 on his plasma for over 4 years without a sign of burn-in. The PS3 is even better at not burning in because of it's photo-realistic images with games.

And there should be no problem playing BluRay movies on the PS3.

Big Hint: Get a copy of the BluRay versions of "Cars" or "WallE" and go to the Setup menu. It has test-patterns and instructions you follow to turn the Brightness/Contrast/Colors down to sane levels for your TV and BluRay Player.

Ok, well I have a PS3. My mom says that she'll buy me a new video game. ONLY one video game. So I narrowed it down.

Please give me a reasonable explanation of how one game is better than the other and why I should buy it.

Background info:
I'm a kid who really likes games where you get to customize people/ things. I also really like RPGS. I also like leveling up and getting new powers and stuff. I really am thinking of getting FFXIII but I've heard bad reviews of it and I heard that LBP is a really good game. Thank you.

What sort of business courses/degrees would a person need to run a successful video game store or buy into a franchise? (Just the minimum training needed to be able to efficiently run a business)

Need to know how to fix and operate the games. Other than that just basic business knowledge.

When you trade-in viedo games they scan them and a price comes up for that game. Where can I find this information without going to the game store? I want to know much in-store credit would be for some of my games. Stores such as: Gamestop and Play-N-Trade.
