Your analysis of the “game like” aspect of the game seemed pretty dead on to me. The only thing that I can think of right now is the techno music that is played every time. Usually when you play a video game, the soundtrack remains the same every time you repeat a level. Also, one of the most important aspects is the time limit and the 100,000 mark goal. Restraints and end goals are what make a video game interesting and add that exciting intensity to it.
So? Piracy will never be completely eliminated, because there will always be *someone* who wants a free lunch. Many video game companies already realize this (though just as many don’t), that’s why some big games like TES 4: Oblivion and most of Valve’s library ship without DRM. They realize that if they make their game good enough, people will be willing to buy it, and the people who are pirating it are the kind of people who wouldn’t have bought the game no matter what the price. They are smart enough to know that 1 Pirated copy ≠ 1 lost sale. Making things cheaper would, however, make piracy go down by some. What are people more likely to impulse-buy, a 10$ album or a $2 album?
This doesn't really make sense. I can't understand the plot line. I wish it were more similar to the portal series. I liked the portal gun though. The one i Made is a piece of crap made our of an oj carton!
