How long does it take for new video game releases to become available for rental?
Specifically, I'm looking to rent Final Fantasy 13, scheduled for release March 9. Will blockbuster/movie gallery have it available to rent immediately, or how long does it take?
If they're going to carry it, they'll more than likely have it ready for rent the day its released; I worked at a video store a few years ago and they'd get the games/movies in the weekend before it was released and the day it comes out they'll have it ready for rental as soon as they open their doors that day but with video games they'd sometime get them late if they didnt get it on release but there was a high demand for it
