Can someone please tell me some ps2 games that are dual layered?
My son specifically wants rock band for ps2 for his b-day. I have seen on forums that some people have trouble playing it on the fat ps2 like my son has. That is because the fat ones sometimes have trouble reading the dual layered discs.Tech support has been of no help at all at sony and suggest I call a game rental store for more info.They suggested I rent it first to make sure it works. I am unable to rent this anywhere for ps2. I have called everyone within an hour drive and no store has it for ps2 for rent.
Can someone please list a few games for ps2 that they are sure are dual layered discs? I just need to rent ANY dual layered disc ps2 game to make sure rock band will load and read. The idiots at sony cannot even tell me which of their games are dl and which are not. Again, they suggest I contact an employee at a movie /game rental place. Any help would be appreciated, as I dont want to blow money on it for a birthday present that he cant even use. Thanks
I have GTA San Andreas and Vice City as well as Resident Evil 4 and Mercenaries and Gran Turismo and they are all dual layered and all work fine.
The only problem is that minor scratches are a lot more critical if your disc is dual layered which is more of a problem on the fat PS2s because you place the disc in and take it out of a tray instead of pushing it onto the spinner bit in the middle like you do on slim PS2s.
if he looks after the disc it will be fine.

how long does blockbuster let you keep games for?
i know its like 5 days or something, but 1 week movie rentals they let u keep for 2 weeks. how long and how much is it for wii games, or ps2 games
no late fee's but if u keep game or movie over 1 month then they charge u full price for the game and u just get to keep it
