It's my 15th Birthday soon, help me plan?

My party will be Saturday, October 18th. It's an informal thing, starting at my house. But I'm not sure what to do. I know I can 1) set up things to do at my house - games, video games, a food bar, music. the thing is, I really want people to interact socially, to talk, make new friends, and have fun, since I run in several different circles and some people just won't know each other. Or. 2) I could plan somewhere to go. But the problem is there's not much to do in my area with a group of 15-25 people, guys and girls, ages 14 - 17, that will still allow for social interaction.
At the end of the party, we're either going to go to the mall and see whatever decent horror movie is out, or rent movies and popcorn and watch a movie on the big screen in my living room. Renting one would offer much more options, I could even bring the guests to Blockbuster to pick one out if I wanted. But at the same time I don't think I want the whole party to take place at my house.

Well, I think I see where your going. Did you consider going to the movie first and then going to you place after? That way, everyone would have at least that one thing in common to talk about while playing video games and listening to music. Also, after the movie, they are probably going to have the munchies, so the snack bar would be a solid idea.

Hope this helped.
