is this a waste of money on a video game?
back in the day i bought assassins creed, cheap for $18 used. played it and was enjoying it at first, but then traded it in out of boredom. i have rented it a few times before that and hadnt played it that much either. but with AC2 coming out i am excited for it once again. my thing is id like to play and beat the first before playing the 2nd. i know now that trading it in was a dumb idea and i wouldnt do it again, but is it worth paying another $18 for the game again, or should i rent and if i really love it, get AC2?
Even though the hype on AC2 is really starting to get flashy, I'd go with renting it. (Of course, I usually just rent any game that doesn't have online multiplayer.) Assassin's Creed 1 you could beat in just a short period of time, and I would guess that AC2 would also just be a quick playthrough.
I wasn't a big fan of the first AC as well, so I know that's what I'm going to do.
