1. How are video games presented in the media? Do you think this is an accurate representation? How does this article over Madden differ from the usual representation of video games?
2. What are the positive aspects of video games? The negative?
3. How influential are video games upon the youth? What about this IT makes it either influential or not influential in your mind?
4. Considering the recent crusades against video games from activists such as Jack Thompson, how well does this article present another viewpoint?

The only thing you can do now is follow her around in a white panel van and make a peace offering of delicious candy and video games at your place. Make sure your offer is witnessed by her friends and parents. That way they’ll know you’re not “weird”.
NUGGETS
It was rude of him not to acknowledge your invite.
But also, don't set yourself up to be a doormat – by offering to pay for him to come over and allow him to live rent free, you're starting what could be a situation where you could be taken advantage of. If he does come over and sits around drinking and playing video games, how will he ever afford a flight home?
Not only that but be wary – I once met a guy online who seemed perfect. He was so funny and we had a lot in common, we'd chat, message, email, text, talk on the phone. And 6 months later he decided to drive 6 hours to meet me. Disaster! He was nothing like I expected him to be. He wasn't as funny or as great as he appeared to be online. I learnt a valuable lesson – don't invest so much time into a virtual relationship because people can be anyone they want to be.
The other side of the coin though was this guy who randomly messaged me on MySpace. He made me laugh so I wrote back. He drove 4 hours to visit and he was every bit as great as he appeared to be online. He visited a few times, and I visited him at his home town. It could have been more but the timing was all wrong for me, but he's a great friend.
So just be careful, sometimes people are as great in real life as they appear to be, sometimes they're not.
