This is a standard 2-variable problem. You need to write two equations, isolate one variable in one of them and then plug that into the other so it has only one variable and you can solve it. In this case:
Let x = # video games, y = # movie videos
x + y = 35, y = 35 - x
4.99x + 2.99y = 144.65
substitute 35 - x for y in the 2nd
4.99x + 2.99(35 - x) = 144.65
4.99x + 104.65 - 2.99x = 144.65
2.00x = 40.00, x = 20
y = 15
so, A is true, all the others are false. You can check them if you want.

Try Googling The Longest Journey. It's one of the most fantastic adventure games I've ever played, second to Broken Sword.
Try Googling Syberia, that's also an excellent adventure game.
Then there's Runaway, Runaway 2, Monkey Island, Jack Orlando, Sam and Max, Beneath a Steel Sky, Grim Fandango, Full Throttle, Day of the Tentacle, Agon…in short, there are some fantastic, cheap adventure games out there just waiting for you to play them. Get Googling mate and enjoy!

We've used both Gamefly & Netflix. We really enjoy it, andif you play a lot of games or watch a lot of movies, it's way cheaper. I think we pay about 18 for Gamefly and 14 for Netflix, no contract, if they are damaged (rarely) just ship them back and they'll send you another. You can let them know online that it was damaged, and they'll get you one quick, you can get different plans for your budget, no contract or late fees.
