Forming a business..does business exist for its own profit or to benefit the society?
Promoting the so called proactive stance, some people argue that businesses should be socially responsible by seeking opportunities to benefit the society in which they are permitted to conduct their affairs. Others maintain that because businesses exist to make profits for owners, they have no further obligation to society than that! Discuss two arguments possible to support each side of this debate...
assume you want to open one of the following new businesses. What form of business ownership would you choose for each? why?
a. video game rental store
b. wedding planning service
c. software development firm
d. computer hardware manufacturing company
e. online bookstore
Ok Lisset, you need to do you own homework. Why do teenagers and young college students come on this board to get someone else to do what they're suppose to be doing anyway?
To answer your question though without doing the work for you, a business is put in place to achieve whatever the owner wants to achieve. If its a non-profit organization that's meant to benefit others than there you go, if it's a "for-profit" then it's to make the owners money. "Non-Profit...help the community" "For Profit..help #1" pretty simple concept ay?

Can you see the mass exodus from NY state. Already one of the highest taxed states in the nation with one of the highest medicade costs, and more people on social services anywhere. When you see a healthy 25 yr. old swipe her or his welfare card with a basket full of groceries, you ask yourself why you work. When you see a 22 year old with 8 kids, take an ambulance to the hospital for a cat scratch, knowing they will not pay a penny for the cost, it sums up why NY state is the way it is. Who can afford to live in NY state aside from the politicians and the rich. Patterson is a complete dissappointment.
