Addicted to video games?
Hello, I'm 13 and I think I am very much addicted to video games. Well, it's not really me playing 24/7 on video games, maybe just 1-3 hours a day, but the fact is that I keep researching video games and keep reading/watching reviews/previews on video games. Like grand theft auto IV for instance. I pretty much found out everything there is to know about the game by searching around the net and reading previews from magazine scans in forums and so on. Well I think it's just grand theft auto IV I'm addicted to researching, but whenever I'm on the computer i "always" go onto youtube for some reason and look at game play/glitches of video games and easter eggs that are in it, even though i don't even have those games! I even have a list of PS3 games and XBOX 360 games that i want and i don't even have 1/4 of them. Well most of this should end when GTA IV comes out April 29th. Then i would only play that game and only look at it's videos on youtube.
Dude, I'm exactly like you, I don't see myself as being addicted, but I play two or three times a week for a couple hours. Also, I CAN'T WAIT FOR GTAIV, IT'S GONNA BE THE BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!! And I have one question for all you nay-sayers, why is everyone saying that 'living life' is getting drunk at 'parties' and having a girlfriend??? Seriously??? I think that as long as you are happy with your life by playing video games then play video games. Besides not EVERYONE likes to party, sure there is marriage and other things but there are women, believe it or not who are also 'addicted' to video games. My point being you don't have to go to parties with your girlfriend to enjoy life!!!!!!!!!
