Video Game Review Kids

Why do these talented world cup players have to play as if their made out of glass? Its embarrassing to watch!
These guys think and act as if everytime someone comes near them they have to grab their shins, howl in pain, and roll around for good measure, sometimes when they haven't even been touched there.
For a world class sport this is emarassing and as a coach for youger players, aggravating because the kids replicate what these sissies do on tv! Maybe FIFA should get into the 21st century, and bring in 2 referres on the pitch, video replay like in other professional sports and punish severely the acting which is detracting from this great game. Soccer is a fast game and the referees are human and can not catch everything. It would be a totally different look if a referee had to review a play on video before awarding a penalty kick. Maybe the Australia would still be in the world cup! Also for what these guys get paid they should be able to absorb a little punishment.
This is a world class sport but I'm afraid it needs some work to get the tarnish off it.
You know you are correct. Video replay might slow the momentum of the game too much but another referee is something they perhaps should seriously look at.
I'm an Aussie and not a bad sport, so congratulations to Italy, they defended brilliantly. However for a team that is world class they do rely on these acting talents quite a bit. A team that good should not have to.Totti rolled around like his ankle was broken and the replay showed very very minimal contact and then rose to take the free kick with no problems at all. As for the penalty that ended the socceroo's run, well the Italian player clearly went looking for that foul and I can't believe the referee fell for that. Kids do mimic their hero's and this is not something( taking dives) that we would want our future players to replicate. The funniest thing about it is everyone knows when it's a dive or a legitimate foul, everyone but the referee. They should be experienced enough to know the difference especially at this level when the stakes are so high and the use of these tactics increased.

Classic Game Room HD - PIRATES: HUNT for BLACKBEARD'S BOOTY

I’m already ahead, it seems: I started playing it last week. I’m about half way through (I think), and it’s amazing. I think a lot of the time when people rave about old games being better than new ones they’re exaggerating or being nostalgic, but man… the writing in this game really is some of the best video game writing I’ve ever seen. The characters, setting, and plot are just so different from other RPGs and so interesting. And the game’s got an awesome sense of humor too. I’ve laughed out loud more at this game than I have at a lot of much less serious ones. The game’s been buggy as hell – even with all the patches and mods everyone says to download, it crashes regularly (earlier today it took me four tries to enter a building without crashing) and the are bizarre graphical glitches everywhere, but they’re barely impacting my enjoyment of the game because I’m having so much fun with it (the fact that starting up the game is so fast because it’s old and you can actually skip through the company logos at the beginning (seriously, what the hell is it with being forced to watch these nowadays?) also makes crashes more tolerable. Basically, all of the praise everyone gives this game is absolutely 100% deserved. If you’ve never played this game before, go to GoG.com, buy it (I don’t care if you’re still pissed off at their publicity stunt, they deserve the money for making this game readily available again), follow [this to improve the resolutation and fix some bugs and add a few nice feaures, and then enjoy one of the best-written and most unique video game stories of all time. Even with the old-school isometric graphics, barely any voice acting, and numerous glitches, it’s still amazing (sometimes the old school graphics and lack of voice-acting help, since they can describe things in text in far more detail than artists and animators can include in modern games – sort of like how a book can do some things much better than a movie, Planescape does some things much better than modern games where everything is seen rather than described and all dialogue is voice-acted). **TL;DR**: This game is still amazing to play today. If you haven’t played it before, buy it, [mod and correct this immediately.
I’m always skeptical of video game movies, as I assume pretty much everyone is, but I like Mark Wahlberg and David O. Russell. If De Niro and Pesci both sign on, perhaps this could actually be a halfway decent movie. Still, even though I don’t play the game, I can definitely see how Nathan Fillion would’ve fit in the role. Oh, well…
