Video Game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

I am Planning to buy a video game set... Which would be best x-box , Nintendo,Play station or any other...
Plz give a common answer so that i dont get confused
Please check if that is not very costly...I want cheap and best
Thanx

is it for you or your kids?
for kids I would recommend Game cube. its about $79 and it has games for the entire family. (Mario kart, Zelda awsome game)

if its for you then it all depends on what you are looking for. Let's start with the PS2.

Price it's about $139 on a brand new system, and about $110 on a used system if you buy it at a retail store.
PS2 has the largest library of any games. I must say that if you are into the "Role Playing Games" such as Final Fantasy series wich covers from final fantasy VII to Final Fantasy XI with Final Fantasy XII on it's way Next month, anyway they have different titles such asOnimusha I,II,III etc . In addition to the RPGs the PS2 has countless titles for any category. The bad thing about the PS2 it's the replay value of its games. Although it has beautiful, creative, asweome games, once you finish the game, you most likely will stop playing it so it becomes a little boring having to play the same game over and over again. consequently you will have to buy new games to entertain yourself.

Xbox----

The price on a new Xbox system it's just like the PS2. New system around $139 and Used $110.
The xbox has a decent game library, not as huge as the PS2 but it many great titles, specially sport titles. If you like to compete against the 4 million community of xbox live, then this is just for you. Sport titles from NBA, NHL, NFL,FIFA, Tennis, even Boxing are "Xbox Live enable" which means you could compete agains other peple. This is very important because the replay value of your games count. For example, if you have a xbox title from 2004, you can still play it and have fun, since thousands of other players still play this game. Now, if you had this same title for the PS2 you probably wouldn't play it unless you had competition from your neighbors, or family members. Another befefit from "xbox live community" it's friends. you will make lots and lots of friends who have the same game interests you have. you can chat with them and play at the same time, so it becomes very exiting.

The bad thing about xbox: If you want to join Xbox live, you would have to pay an additional $49 per year.

you would need a fast internet connection such as DSL, or Cable.

You become addicted. lol

Good Luck!

I don't believe that the term "cheating" explains what is going on.

Those who hack into video game programs are no geniuses. If the feature (ie. infinite lives/ ammo, etc.) or shortcut was not already built into the program nobody would be able to take advantage of it. Programmers insert that code in order to test the user experience of different modules of the game separately. It would be a waste of time to have to play a video game from the beginning just to test each of the higher levels of the game. Those types of shortcuts have been part of video game programming for a long time, before they became public. So yes many, not all video games, have those features or shortcuts built-in. Also it has become commonplace to leak many of the shortcut codes, as you can see from the many websites that publish tips and "cheat" codes online.

I used to pre-order back in the days of FFVIII and the like where you would have trouble finding a copy of the game on launch. The other day I heard an EB employee trying to convince a kid to put $5 down on black ops to “secure” his copy. This is one of the highest selling video games of all time. Its sales will dwarf most movies for this year. Do you honestly think they will not print enough copies of the game? Sure enough on the 9th I see 500+ copies of the game sitting on the shelf. Hell, I bought Halo 2 two years after it came out and it was an original printing because it still had the sticker “do not sell until..” on it.

You don't say what city or state; but Dash could be right, I suppose he knows the procedures.
I had a somewhat similar experience at a drug store, not as big as a WalMart. They announced on the PA there was a fire, and I saw some smoke from another part of the store. I was forced to steal a rubber crutch tip. I had taken my walking stick into the store to get a rubber tip for it, I put it on to make sure it fit, and then the evacuation came, no checking out. I hung out wanting to pay for it, and I told one of the employees, and he started to giggle hysterically. I realized that, honest as I wanted to be, it wasn't worth trying to pay for a $1.50 item under the circumstances. It turned out to be a small arson fire.
