Fall's Xbox 360 Dashboard Update?
about the new update for the Xbox 360 this fall, I heard you can install cd games on your hard drive to decrease load time. Would this mean you could play the game without the disc? If so, would this eliminate Xbox 360 game rentals? Would you also be able to install older games on your hard drive?
Anything else I should know about the new update (no alien talk, english please)? It's downloaded to your hard drive right? I don't want to waste money on a new 360 just for that.
Will the new installing the game on the hard drive decrease the cases of The Red Ring of Death?
Well you can install games on the hd... And it validates that you have the game HOWEVER once it knows you have the game the disc drive will not spin!! i repeat the disk drive will not spin... SO there is a reduced chance of overheating... ALSO another thing to look forward to is that you can switch games without going to the dashboard wooO!!!!! and fall is august-begining of nov.
There was an update a few weeks ago that did nothing... I suppose microsoft is trying to catch pirates by adding eye patch recognition software on the xbl camera.....
